I have been working with Vivienne for about five years. I found in my hunt for a good, reliable pet sitter, that it is as difficult to find a good pet sitter as it is to find a baby sitter. After some really terrible experiences, I met Vivienne through my Dog Venus's groomer and now I am a very happy woman. My animals love her and the first time I went out of town, she came to stay with my fur babies. When I returned home, Vivienne said, 'You didn't tell me that Venus likes to sleep on your head.'

Well, Venus has never slept on my head. I was so jealous! But I also knew Vivienne was a gem, a diamond in the mire. Venus runs to greet Vivienne even when she comes for a social call. That's a good sign, that the dog tries to kick me out of the door!

I highly recommend Vivienne. She doesn't treat this work as a job, but a calling. And that is indeed, very rare and precious.

Like most pet-owned people, I have always been obsessed with my animals' safety, comfort, health, and state of mind. And though I lost both my dogs, Annie and Arthur, last year, I never trusted them to anyone but Vivienne whenever I had to travel to San Diego. They were rescue dogs, and had been abused, and they didn't take to people easily; but they doted on Vivienne and she on them. her reliability, professionalism, and genuine love and concern for Annie and Arthur eased my mind enormously each time I left them in her care.

I'll be pet-owned again very soon and if Vivienne isn't available whenever I have to leave town, I'll change my plans and wait until she is.

This letter comes to tell you about Vivienne, the best cat-sitter in the history of the world.

We've known Vivienne for many years..   She first sat for our cats when we went on a trip to South Texas in 1992.   While we were away from home, riots broke out all over Los Angeles and we were worried sick about the safety of our cats.   Turns out there was nothing to worry about.   Not only did Vivienne travel across the mean streets of Los Angeles to care for our cats, but when we returned after the riots, we discovered that the cats hadn't even missed us.

In 1999, we were on a trip to Turkey when a devastating earthquake struck that country.   It was impossible for us to call out and Vivienne continued to care for our cats for three weeks without knowing our location--or our fate.   At the time, she was taking care of our cats' physical needs as well as medical needs.   She cheerfully learned how to hydrate our elderly cat, Lillian Hellman, and virtually sustained her life comfortably in our home during our absence.  

We could go on and on about our experiences, but it is enough to say we trusted Vivienne with our beloved cats and found her to be totally dependable in every way.   She has cared for seven of our cats during the last 16 years and we would recommend her for any cat-sitting job as well as cat-care sainthood.

I have known Vivienne for about 14 years and for at least 13 of those years she has taken care of my darling
Lily and Lola.   

Lily has since passed on but she was a long haired cream and gray with large blue eyes and dark freckles of a cat. Lola is a Himalayan who is now an only child. Vivienne loves her and takes great care of her, as she did with Lily. I trust her implicitly and she has keys to my home and garage as well. Whenever I leave town, as anxious as I am about leaving, I know Lola is in good hands. She spends quality time with her and when I arrive home, she seems well groomed and smells good (I think it is from all the hugs she gets from Vivienne).


In the past when Lily was in need of pills and fluids, Vivienne took care of her needs.She is quite a companion, nurse and all around lovely lady. I highly recommend her.


I have always said Vivienne was put here to be a surrogate mother to animals. Lucky you if she picks you.

Vivienne is the only person in the universe that I would ever trust with my animals, AKA my children! She is experienced, reliable and and trustworthy woman who has watched over my babies since I was fortunate enough to find her in 1990. Numerous cats and dogs that I have adopted throughout the years will only allow this amazing, one of a kind woman, to eat with them (as they steal the food off her dinner plate), take them on their walks and even sleep in my bed with her at night when I am out of town.

Vivienne came into our lives around 2004. I am an animal lover and have built my life around my three feline friends. They are family, they deserve the best! I cannot tell you enough how safe and comfortable I feel whenever I have to go on a trip and leave my beloved friends with Vivienne. I recall having anxiety trying to find just the right someone who is reliable, trustworthy and a true lover of animals. I looked in all areas of my supporting network of family and friends. I always came home feeling that the cats were unhappy and were not cared for as I had intended.

When we found Vivienne, we found so much more than just pet care. We have found someone who truly cares about the animals, had instinctive animal knowledge, is reliable, sensitive, sensible, dedicated, caring and is always welcome in our home. I have never doubted since that time Vivienne first came to meet us, that there would be a concern. My cats gravitated towards her and gave me the okay. The first time I came home after leaving them with Vivienne, my cats were relaxed and content. Every care plan I had requested was fulfilled and Vivienne had assured me by phone that cats were okay while I was away. As I got to know Vivienne, I found a woman who is in tune with the importance of balance in life. She cares about all those around her, stands true to her word, works for what she wants in life, gives to those in need, values the need to care for living creatures and provides practical resolutions to those in her life. She has allowed us the opportunity to go away from our home and leave our family in her hands. She has opened her arms and provided warmth, trust and companion ship to my feline friends and has given her kindness and dedication. I could never imagine what i would have done if I had not had the privilege of having Vivienne care for my three beloved pets. I know if they were able to say so they would agree that they are in good hands and feel comforted and loved while their family is away. I know because they do so by the happiness they show when I return from a trip and seem though we had never left. I know because Vivienne makes them feel that they are part of her life. Thank you Vivienne for always caring so thoughtfully for our family and giving them the care that you give to your own family friends

Vivienne has taken care of my dogs and cats for 20 years. She is so reliable and trustworthy that I have been able to travel without worrying about my animals. In fact when I return, I always find them better for the time she spent with them.

Vivienne also stays in touch with me when I am home to check in and see how everyone is doing. All the animals have loved her. My dog Jacko spins for joy when she arrives and cries when she leaves.

Vivienne has taken care of my pets since 1995. I travel frequently and it wa was a blessing to find someone like Vivienne who really cared about my pets. She got to know their personalities and if anything seemed out of sorts she would give me a call. She is very proactive and knows what questions to ask so that things will go smoothly. In all these years I have always counted on Vivienne to be there for me. She will go the extra mile if need be. Never once was she not able to take care of Bandit and Sebastian. She is the most reliable and trustworthy person. I always came back to happy well cared for pets. There is nothing more comforting than knowing your pets ar being cared for in their own home and Vivienne has made this possible for me and my pets.
